Foil Tips & Timesavers FULLY WRAPPED TURKEYTo roast a turkey in almost half the time, completely wrap the turkey in Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil and cook in a 450°F oven. Turn back foil during the last 20 to 30 minutes to brown.
TENTING TRICK
For a picture perfect roasted turkey, crease a foil sheet and place it like a tent over the turkey to prevent overbrowning. Non-stick foil won’t stick to or tear the turkey skin making a great presentation.
PREVENT CLEANUP ALTOGETHER
It’s easy…turn the pan upside down and press foil (non-stick side down) around it. Remove the foil. Flip the pan upright and drop the foil inside. Crimp the edges and you’re ready to cook!
COVER PANS
Use foil as a quick cover for skillets, pans or casserole dishes that have no lids. Covering foods in the oven prevents over-browning and drying out. Covering stovetop pans prevents spattering and messy cleanups. Carefully lift foil with a pot holder when checking or removing food.
PREVENT OVEN SPILLS
Use a sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil a few inches larger than your casserole or baking pan. Place it on a lower shelf in your oven so heat circulates under the food. Turn up edges all around to catch any messy oven spills. To prevent damage to the oven, do not use foil to line the bottom of oven.
PREPARE APPETIZERS AHEAD
When unexpected company arrives, be prepared with a batch of pre-made appetizers from your freezer. Take the time to make up the appetizers in advance, wrap tightly in Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil and freeze. When company arrives, you can pop these frozen appetizers into the oven. Baking for most appetizers will only take about 20 minutes from the freezer.
LINE COOKIE SHEETS
To speed up cookie baking, line cookie sheets with Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Aluminum Foil. Slide foil or parchment paper sheet of baked cookies off; slide on a foil or parchment paper sheet of cookie dough. There's no waiting between batches and no cleanup.

Line pans with Non-Stick Aluminum Foil. Turn pan upside down and press a sheet of foil over the inverted pan. Remove foil, flip the pan over and drop the foil liner inside. Add batter or dough to foil lined-pan and bake as directed. When the brownies or bar cookies are cool, lift them by the foil from the pan onto a cutting board. Fold back the edges foil and cut.
CHOP AHEAD
To speed up food prep, chop, shred or grate similar ingredients for recipes at the same time. Wrap with foil and refrigerate. Foil keeps food odors from transferring to other foods.
EASY FROZEN MEALS
Line pans with enough Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil to extend up over the edges. To line pans easily, turn pan upside down. Press foil over the outside of the inverted pan. Remove foil. Flip pan over and drop foil inside. Crimp edges of foil to rim of pan. Add food. Cover with a top sheet of foil. Crimp foil edges together and freeze. When frozen, remove the pan and return the foil package to the freezer. To reheat, place foil package back into original baking pan. Uncover and bake.
REHEAT FROZEN APPETIZERS
Reheat several types of frozen appetizers together in one pan, each on a separate sheet of foil with the edges turned up. Foil keeps pans clean and prevents juices and flavors from mingling.
KEEP FOODS WARM
Cover foods hot from the oven or microwave oven with foil to keep them warm until serving time.
QUICK ROASTED GARLIC
For easy-to-make roasted garlic, just slice the pointed end from an unpeeled bulb of garlic, drizzle with oil and wrap in Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Squeeze the pulp from the garlic and use it as a spread on bread, toss with pasta or stir into mashed potatoes.
NO PRYING PLEASE
Easily separate frozen hamburgers or chicken breasts without prying by placing a folded sheet of non-stick foil between each piece before freezing. Be sure the non-stick side touches each piece.
DINNER ROLLS
Avoid the last minute rush. Bake breads and dinner rolls ahead, wrap tightly in Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil and freeze. Breads can be frozen up to 2 months in advance.
CRISP COATINGS STAY ON
Crumb coatings stick to the food, not to the pan when you line it with non-stick foil. Foods like chicken nuggets and fish sticks are easy to turn without falling apart!
SCRUB-FREE BROILING
No more soaking and scrubbing messy broiler pans! Line both parts of the pan with non-stick foil. Be sure to cut slits at the rack opening for the fat to drain away while broiling.
REHEAT CRISPY PIZZA
Wrap leftover pizza in non-stick foil. When ready to reheat, open the foil and heat in the oven on the same foil sheet. The crust gets crisp and melted cheese won’t stick so you get to eat every bit!
PERFECT COOKIES
Bake cookies on cookie sheets lined with non-stick foil. Cookies slide right off the pan without sticking or falling apart, so you get perfect cookies that are perfectly delicious!
BROWNIES AND BAR COOKIES
Line the baking pan with a sheet of Non-Stick Foil and bake as directed. When the brownies and bar cookies are cool, simply lift the cookies by the foil from the pan onto a cutting board. Fold back the edges of the foil and cut.
SPECTACULAR DESSERT
When you need a simple dessert to dazzle guests, shape non-stick foil over the back of baking shells or small shallow dishes. Spread melted chocolate over the foil and refrigerate until set. Carefully remove foil and fill chocolate shell with ice cream or frozen yogurt.
FOIL PIE RING
To prevent pie crusts from over-browning, make a foil pie ring shield. Fold a 12-inch foil square into quarters. With scissors, cut out center; round off edges, leaving a 2-inch-wide ring. Unfold ring; place over pie. Remove foil ring after baking pie 20 minutes.
PUMPKIN PIE WITH PANACHE
Jazz up store-bought pumpkin pie with pastry cut-outs. Use cookie cutters to cut leaf shapes from refrigerated pie crusts. Lightly draw leaf veins with a knife. Place on foil-lined cookie sheet. Add small balls of foil under shapes to make leaves curl. Bake as directed; remove foil when cool. Place on pie.
QUICK COOKIE DECORATING
When you want fancy cookies in a hurry, place store-bought cookies on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Drizzle icing off a spoon to create a pretty zigzag effect on the cookies. All the mess is on the foil, so there's no cleanup.
COOKIE EXCHANGE
Choose one great cookie recipe that is easily mass produced. Divide baked cookies in quantities of one dozen and wrap in Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil. Freeze for holiday parties or invite friends for a cookie swap.
