Frequently Asked Questions : Reynolds® Baking Cups

Frequently Asked Questions

If I am using baking cups, do I still grease the muffin pan?
No, it is not necessary to grease your muffin pan if you are using a baking cup.

If I am using Reynolds® Foil Baking Cups, should I remove the paper separators or leave them in?
Reynolds Baking Cups are packed with paper separators to prevent the foil cups from fusing together during manufacturing. These paper separators should be removed before filling the foil baking cups with batter. The paper separators are the same as our Pastels Baking Cups.

What do I do if there is not enough batter to fill the whole muffin pan?
If there is not enough batter to fill every slot in the muffin pan, do not use baking cups in the empty slots. Instead, fill the empty slots halfway with water before baking.
