Banana and Honey Smoothie

Banana and Honey Smoothie (makes 2 drinks)

This is a good idea for using up bananas that are soft and over ripe.

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 Spoonful of honey
  • 1 Spoonful of natural yoghurt
  • 2 Cups of milk

(Of course you can use other fruit and any flavour of yoghurt)

Peel the bananas and mash well.

Add the honey, yogurt and milk and mix well. If the bananas are really soft you can mash them up fairly well with just a fork, otherwise to make it even easier just gave it a quick whiz with a hand held blender so its lovely and smooth.

Pour into cups/glasses and add a curly straw for extra appeal if you want to!
