Colourful
Caterpillars
You will need:
Two half dozen egg boxes (or a one dozen egg box)
A roll of Baco Rainbow Food Wrap
Scissors
Coloured paper
Glue
A large needle
Single ply wool
Pipe cleaner/2 cotton buds
Instructions:
Cut around the top of all of the bases in the egg boxes.
Wrap Baco Rainbow Food Wrap all around the outside - continue for all 12 egg shapes.
Turn the egg shapes so that the open end is facing down.
An adult will be required to thread a large needle with a single strand of wool and push it through each egg shaped dome. Start the first one from the inside of the dome and continue threading through each one until all 12 are linked together in a chain.
Tie off the end inside the last one.
To make the head of the caterpillar, cut the pipe cleaner in two (or alternatively use two cotton buds) and insert into the head to make the antennae. Using the coloured paper, cut out eye shapes and stick to the head with the glue.
