Herbed Green Beans with Roasted Peppers

Directions:

PREHEAT oven to 230°C OR grill to medium-high.

CENTER green beans on sheet of BacoFoil® Non-Stick (dull) side toward food. Top with roasted red peppers, fried onions, water, butter, basil, salt and pepper

BRING up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to form one large foil packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside.

BAKE 30 to 35 minutes on a Baking Tray in the oven

*BACO® KITCHENS TIP: If using frozen green beans, increase baking time to 35 to 40 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet (450mm x 600mm) Bacofoil® Non-Stick Foil
  • 2 pounds or 32oz whole green beans, trimmed OR frozen whole green beans*
  • 7oz/200g Roasted red peppers, drained and cut in strips
  • 1 onion, sliced and fried
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Pinch of pepper
