The GEOTERRA™ structural mat system is an economical ground-surface reinforcement layer designed to support loads over soft subgrades or for creating reinforced pavements in less-than-ideal environments.

The durable mats are manufactured from individual polyethylene units that are 3.15 ft (.96 m) x 1.57 ft (.48 m) x 2 in (50 mm) deep. These structural mats have a crush strength 420 psi (2900 kPa) making them well suited to support high construction traffic or heavy equipment loads.

Individual GEOTERRA units are locked together to form an interconnected mat system that can easily be sized to meet any project requirement. The mat system prevents rutting of soils, provides access over sands and poor soils and is suitable for supporting a wide variety of vehicle and equipment loads.

The light-weight system can be utilized for either temporary or permanent applications and may be disassembled, removed and reused at other locations.

The system can be designed for use with an underlying geotextile and/or impermeable geomembrane or drainage system where required.
